AI and Child & AI and Youth

As Istanbul Bilgi University IT Law Institute, we are pleased to announce that Zehra Egenaz Vural will be the leading youth ambassador of our "Artificial Intelligence and Child" and "Artificial Intelligence and Youth" projects. We value perspectives of children and youth and in age of AI and we believe they are critical when making decisions regarding AI both in Turkey and the world. We Welcome Egenaz to our Institute and thank her for accepting this role and joining us!

Egenaz was born in Kütahya in 2001. She decided to continue her education in Istanbul at the first science and technology high school of Turkey, Bahcesehir High School for Science and Technology. During high school, she created a smart collar for farm animals and applied for a patent with her device. She also worked as a part of a high school robotic team, 3646 INTEGRA, as a lead mechanical designer for two years. After her experience in multiple disciplines of engineering, she decided to pursue a career in machine learning. Egenaz worked as an intern at the Machine Learning Department of Dogus Technology for two consecutive years. Currently, Egenaz is getting her education at Drexel University in the United States of America with a Business and Engineering major and Economics minor.
